Christians attacked in Jharkhand
From our correspondent
Not to be outwitted in the politico-communal game, Sangh Parivar outfits have stepped up their anti-Christian campaign in Jharkhand. Hindu militant activists recently attacked 15 believers and missionaries belonging to Friends Missionary Prayer Band (FMPB) in the state.
The attackers beat up the believers and missionaries in Singhbhuim district of Jharkhand near Jamshedpur. They tortured them for professing Christian faith. “There is no loss of life. But all new believers are excommunicated. They are even denied water. They cannot collect water from anywhere in the locality,” a source said.
The All India Christian Council (aicc) has already despatched a fact-finding team to look into the matter and take necessary action
