Report all cases of
attacks and atrocities on Christians, other minorities and
marginalized sections to the council immediately as
half the battle against fundamentalism is being aware of such
incidents. While doing so, ensure accuracy of facts including
time, place, circumstances, number of assailants, injuries,
damage to property, threats, communal statements, hate literature,
weapons, concerned Police station, whether the victims were
priests, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, field workers,
medical relief staff etc.
Whenever atrocities take place, as
far as possible, gather representatives from all denominations
and call a press conference. .
Maintain
a register of incidents of attacks of incidents in your area
and periodically pass such lists on to the council
Bring all cases of attacks to the
attention of your area Panchayat member, Corporator, MLA and
MP.
Report
to the council all cases of police collusion as well
as refusal of police officials to register complaints. Also
report negligence of police officials. After filing complaints,
follow-up on the complaints and inform the council of
the action taken by the officials, if any.
Work at building partnerships with
other communities such as Dalits, SCs, STs, Muslims, Sikhs,
secular Hindus. Build bridges of goodwill with all secular entities,
exhibiting Christian love and concern.
Irrespective
of denominational affiliations, organize all Christians in your
area for the common purpose of fighting fundamentalism and inform
the council about the creation of such bodies .
Keep abreast of political, social
and religious the developments in the country.
Make
efforts to educate all those youknow about the sangh parivar
and its evil designs.
Take
the initiative in opposing fundamentalism through all constitutional
means. Don’t wait for someone else to do it.
